Aldehoeve-logies, a traditional Frisian stelp farmhouse built in 1860, is located in a quiet residential area, on a large park-like plot, and within walking distance of the friendly center of Workum. It is only a 5-minute walk to the old town center with its inviting terraces and restaurants and only a 7-minute drive by car to the IJsselmeer. Walk around the old center with its historic buildings, nice selection of shops and unique Jopie Huisman museum to spend an enjoyable day.
The scenic landscape around Workum, one of the Frisian ‘Eleven Cities’, is certainly worthwhile as well. There are plenty of options for water sports, you can explore the Frisian IJsselmeer coast by bike or on foot, or explore the quaint and historic villages in the area.
The farmhouse offers three spacious apartments. Two apartments each have two bedrooms with a double bed, a kitchen and a bathroom and accommodate up to four people each. The third apartment has a large living room and open-plan kitchen, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large terrace.
The apartments are modern and comfortable, with rural accents. They offer a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, bath and/or shower and a private terrace outside. Private parking is available on site.
