Welcome to Aldehoeve-logies
Aldehoeve-logies, a traditional Frisian stelp farmhouse built in 1860, is located in a quiet residential area, on a large park-like plot, and within walking distance of the friendly center of Workum. It is only a 5-minute walk to the old town center with its inviting terraces and restaurants and only a 7-minute drive by car to the IJsselmeer. Walk around the old center with its historic buildings, nice selection of shops and unique Jopie Huisman museum to spend an enjoyable day.
The scenic landscape around Workum, one of the Frisian ‘Eleven Cities’, is certainly worthwhile as well. There are plenty of options for water sports, you can explore the Frisian IJsselmeer coast by bike or on foot, or explore the quaint and historic villages in the area.
The farmhouse offers three spacious apartments. Two apartments each have two bedrooms with a double bed, a kitchen and a bathroom and accommodate up to four people each. The third apartment has a large living room and open-plan kitchen, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large terrace.
The apartments are modern and comfortable, with rural accents. They offer a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, bath and/or shower and a private terrace outside. Private parking is available on site.
Aldehoeve-logies is the perfect location to relax with your family or friends for a few days and to enjoy all the beauty that Súdwest-Fryslân has to offer. We hope to see you soon, or in other words “oant sjen” in Workum!
Apartments
Aldehoeve-logies offers three different apartments. The apartments are all located in the former cowshed, at the back of the farmhouse. The front house of the farmhouse is the private residence of the owners.
The apartments are all equipped with:
- Living room with dining and sitting area and flat screen TV;
- Free WiFi;
- Kitchen with all necessary amenities, such as oven and/or microwave, coffee maker, kettle;
- Spacious bedrooms with large beds (180 x 200 cm) with good mattresses and hotel quality bed linen;
- Apartment Ien (one) has its own large terrace. Apartments Twa (two) and Trije (three) both have a smaller terrace directly in front of each apartment;
- Kitchen, bath and bed linen is included in the price;
- Private parking is available on site. A charging station is available that can be used with your own charging card to charge your electric car.
House rules:
- Arrival: after 15:00
- Departure: 10:00
- The apartments are non-smoking
- Pets are not allowed
- The use of baking/frying devices that you have brought along, such as a deep-fat fryer, fondue, stone grill, airfryer, etc., is not permitted due to fire safety and baking smell
- Groups of young people as well as stag and hen parties are not allowed
- Amplified music is not allowed

Apartment Ien has a private entrance at the rear of the farmhouse. With its large living room and open-plan kitchen (70 m2), it is the perfect accommodation for a trip to Friesland with your family or a group of friends.
Apartment Twa: two bedrooms, max. 4p
Apartment Twa and Trije are more or less equal in size and design.
Both apartments have private entrances at the rear of the farmhouse. With two large bedrooms on the 1st floor and a cozy living room downstairs, this apartment is well suited for 2 to 4 people.
